PAINTmyNOOK is a small business located at Maroussi, Attica. Nikoletta is the owner and Constantinos is her collaborator; they are a couple who love interior design, upcycling and handcrafting.
Nikoletta is a civil engineer and an artist.
Constantinos is the furniture hunter and a DIY craftsman.
In its early days, PAINTmyNOOK is based in Achillion village, Magnesia region, and focuses on furniture makeover using chalk paints and ageing techniques.
Nikoletta and Constantinos were excited with the potential outcome of extensive use of these materials, and what began as an amateur experiment — quite literally in a garage, on their own furniture — evolved into the vision of a new professional path.
Over time, PAINTmyNOOK expanded into a broader range of activities within the field of sustainable décor and upcycling: objects made from recycled paper packaging (papier-mâché), origami lampshades — standalone or paired with vintage lamp bases — and various artistic creations, all one-of-a-kind statement pieces.
Today, at the showroom in Marousi, visitors can see the origami lampshades up close and discover a special decorative piece for their home or the next unique gift.
We keep up with research and experimentation.
As for interior design, Nikoletta brings a rare combination: the technical grounding of a civil engineer and the aesthetic sensibility of an artist. She will offer you design solutions that make the most of the durability of natural materials, while harnessing the functional and ergonomic potential of your assets.
